About the Event
The 19th Sa-Dhan National Conference on Inclusive Growth, 2024, themed “Driving Sustainable Development through Inclusive Finance,” is set to be a landmark event. This theme revolves around inclusive development, focusing on equitable growth and long-term economic stability through sustainable finance. It will showcase the innovative approaches that support sustainability in the sector and provide equitable access to opportunities.
Continuing the legacy of being a unique platform for dialogue, deliberation, information exchange, and partnership building, this conference aims to provide critical insights that can shape future action plans for policymakers, regulators, and other stakeholders. By focusing on various aspects of financial inclusion, the conference seeks to both widen and deepen its scale in the country. Addressing issues of financial exclusion and vulnerability, the event will expand discussions around financial resilience and sustainable development, emphasizing the role of sustainable finance in driving inclusive growth.
Prioritizing National Interest
During the 19th National Conference, Sa-Dhan will also focus on critical national priorities, including microinsurance, micro-pensions, integrated health, water and sanitation, clean energy and climate change, affordable housing, support for the truly marginalized, microenterprises, digitization, and the broader microfinance sector. The discussions will examine how financial inclusion can significantly contribute to poverty alleviation and universal access to financial services.
A highlight of the conference will be the unveiling of The Bharat Microfinance Report, a comprehensive statistical analysis of the sector. This report is anticipated to provide crucial insights and data, guiding future initiatives and strategies within the microfinance landscape.
