West Zone Microfinance Conclave (2024)

Sa-Dhan in association with National Institute of Bank Management (NIBM,Pune) has organised West Zone Microfinance Conclave, “West Zone Financial Inclusion Conclave (Promoting Innovations and Technology in Microfinance)” in NIBM Campus, Pune. Around 100 participants attended the event. It includes the CEOs, COOs and other senior-level officials. We are overwhelmed by the active engagement of the participants. The distinguished line of speakers including Mr. J P Sharma, CGM, RBI enriched the event with their insights! Indeed it was our pleasure to get Equifax as knowledge partner. Sa-Dhan Regional conference (Chennai 2023)

Sa-Dhan organised a regional conference on financial inclusion for the five South Indian states at Chennai on 22 February 2023. This was the first such regional conference organised by Sa-Dhan. It was a one day conference with four sessions apart from the inaugural session. The conference was inaugurated by Shri K V Shaji, Chairman NABARD and was attended by Shri Hans Raj Verma, IAS, Addl Chief Secretary Govt of TN and Ms. Uma Sankar, CGM RBI, Chennai. More than 200 participants from South India participated in the conference.

The North East Conclave on Financial Inclusion

Sa-Dhan organised the North East Conclave on Financial Inclusion at the Administrative Staff College, Guwahati. The objective of the Conclave was to revive the microfinance activities in the region to achieve better financial inclusion, especially in Assam, where microfinance activities have been stagnant for the last couple of years. The conclave was inaugurated by Shri Munindra Sharma, IAS, Secretary of Rural Development & Panchayat, Assam Government, and the valedictory address was delivered by Shri Samir Sinha, IAS, Secretary of Finance and Secretary to CM, Assam Government. Both the secretaries appreciated Sa-Dhan’s role in reviving microfinance in the region and promised to support the microfinance activities in the state. Shri Navin Dhingra, CGM of NABARD, delivered the keynote address. There were three-panel discussions, and the panellists included Shri S P Singh, CGM SIDBI, Shri Dhruba Charan Bal, GM SBI, Shri PVSLN Murty, CMD NEDFI, Ms Carol Furtado, CBO Ujjivan Small Finance Bank, Shri Samir Kant Jha, DGM SBI, Shri Manoj Nambiar, MD Arohan, Shri A Sarma, IIBM Guwahati, Shri Anjan Das Gupta, CEO ASA, Shri Sharad Chandra Das, MD, Grameen Develop & Finance, Shri Mantu Nath Sharma, CEO, Nightingale.

The North India Regional Conference on Financial Inclusion

As part of its effort to promote financial inclusion in the country, Sa-Dhan organised regional-level conferences. Accordingly, Sa-Dhan organised a seminar on Financial Inclusion, focussing on seven states of the North Western region, at Chandigarh on 3 August 2023. The Conference was attended by Shri H P Singh, Chair of Sa-Dhan and CMD, Satin Credit Care, Ms Deepa B Guha, CGM, Haryana RO of NABARD, Shri Raghunath B, CGM Punjab, RO of NABARD, Smt Jayshree Vyas, MD- SEWA Bank, Shri Royston Braganza CEO, Grameen Capital, Shri Amardeep Samra, MD Midland Microfin, Shri Vivek Tiwari, CEO, Satya MicroCapital, Ms Purvi Bhavsar, MD, Pahal Financial Services, Shri Pramod Paliwal, CEO, Arth Micro Finance, and other senior leaders from the microfinance industry and its support institutions. The conference deliberated on the potential of seven North-Western states under microfinance and the approach to be adopted in reaching far-flung hilly terrains. The use of technology and innovation in product and process was also deliberated. More than 150 people from the microfinance and banking sectors attended the conference.

Registration fees can be paid through Demand Draft / Online Payment. International payments can only be made through wire transfer.
Please be noted that the fee doesn’t cover accommodation.
REFUND POLICY: Requests received in writing before 15th October 2023 will be considered for cancellation. A 10% handling charge would be deducted from the registration fee and the balance refunded by cheque. No amount will be refunded after. The registration form with the payment details should be sent to conference@sa-dhan.org
