  • Issued the first Governance Manual for the MFI Board of Directors in 2018.
  • Led initiatives to bring policy change for SHG member-level data integration in Credit Bureaus in 2016.
  • Introduced India’s first MFI Directory in 2014.
  • Developed Hand Book for MFIs on RBI Regulation & its Compliance in 2013.
  • Assisted in setting up of the Indian Microfinance Equity (IMEF) under SIDBI in 2012.
  • Developed the Draft Microfinance Bill in 2012.
  • Study on the Efficacy of Business Correspondent (BC) Model in 2012.
  • Assisted in the framing of new MFI regulations in 2011.
  • Developed the COCA Validation Tool in 2010.
  • Developed a Technical Guide on Accounting for MFIs with ICAI in 2008.
  • Developed an SHG Performance Measurement Tool for the sector in 2007.
  • Introduced the first Code of Conduct (CoC) for MFIs in 2007.
  • Released Social Performance Standards for the sector in 2007.
  • Annually publish the largest Financial & Operational Report on the MFI sector since 2004 (Bharat Microfinance Report).
  • Developed the first Operational Manual on Financial Performance Standards for MFIs in 2003.

Registration fees can be paid through Demand Draft / Online Payment. International payments can only be made through wire transfer.
Please be noted that the fee doesn’t cover accommodation.
REFUND POLICY: Requests received in writing before 15th October 2023 will be considered for cancellation. A 10% handling charge would be deducted from the registration fee and the balance refunded by cheque. No amount will be refunded after. The registration form with the payment details should be sent to
