Greetings from Sa-Dhan !
As you may be aware, Sa-Dhan with financial support of SIDBI and DFID under the Poorest State Inclusive Growth (PSIG) programme is implementing a project to build the credibility of the microfinance sector and also to build the capacities of the MFIs. Among others, the project aims at improving good governance among the MFIs. In this regard, Sa-Dhan is organizing a series of Training Workshop on Good Governance to inculcate good governance practices among MFIs. Workshop is primarily meant for Independent Directors and Non Executive Board Members of MFIs. The first two training workshops were organized in Kolkata and Ahmedabad respectively.
The third training workshop on Good Governance is scheduled to take place on 21st & 22nd December, 2017 in Bengaluru, Karnataka.
Services from Institute of Directors (IOD), a premium institute in the domain of governance, has been availed to offer the training programs to our MFI board members.
The workshop will have a maximum capacity of 25 participants on a first come first serve basis. A maximum of two representation from each organization ( STRICTLY BOARD MEMBERS ONLY and preferably Independent Directors/Non Executive Board Members) can be accommodated.
While there is no training fee for this workshop, Sa-Dhan will be happy to provide for a one night accommodation on twin sharing basis. Travel, Out of pocket and incidental expenses shall be borne by the respective organization.
