Position Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Financial Inclusion Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in managing operational engagement with NRLM officials, maintaining communication with SRLM CEOs and state staff, and guiding and overseeing project progress in proposed states. The Financial Inclusion Specialist will lead initiatives to identify and liaise with Financial Institutions (FIs) for partnerships and Memoranda of Understanding (MOUs), negotiate with FIs, and organize and conduct FI-related meetings and workshops. Additionally, the role involves identifying and negotiating with Implementing Partners, monitoring their performance with support from State Coordinators, and overseeing overall project progress and target achievement.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage operational engagement with NRLM officials.
  • Maintain effective communication with SRLM CEOs and state staff.
  • Guide and oversee project progress in proposed states through State Coordinators.
  • Provide support to State Coordinators in their roles.
  • Identify and liaise with Financial Institutions for partnerships and MOUs.
  • Lead negotiations with Financial Institutions to establish mutually beneficial agreements.
  • Organize and conduct meetings and workshops related to Financial Inclusion initiatives.
  • Identify and negotiate with Implementing Partners for their engagement in the project.
  • Monitor the performance of Implementing Partners with support from State Coordinators.
  • Oversee overall project progress and ensure the achievement of targets.
  • Address risks and deviations arising in the project, implementing corrective actions as needed.
Qualifications & Experience:
  • Master’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Development Studies, Economics, Public Policy, or a related field. Master's degree is mandatory. PhD is a plus.
  • At least 15 years of proven experience in financial inclusion, project management, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with NRLM and SRLM processes and guidelines.
  • Ability to analyze data and trends to make informed decisions.
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a collaborative and cross-functional environment.

Job Description:
  • Work with the State Government, Local Administration, and other stakeholders to develop annual plans for activities under each component.
  • Lead the District-level team, and ensure a coordinated approach to all components in the district and resolve issues or problems.
  • Coordinating with the project head field coordinators.
  • The District Coordinator will coordinate all activities at the district level, and lead district and local-level planning and capacity-building.
  • Ensure the timely submission of operational reports.
  • Participate in program review meetings.
  • Perform other duties as required by the programme.
Qualifications & Experience:
  • Graduate BBA, BA(Sociology / Economics/ Development Studies/Public Policy/ Public Administration), B.Com/MSW/MA (Sociology / Economics/ Development Studies/Public Policy/ Public Administration) or equivalent.
  • Minimum 3 - 5 years of experience in Microfinance, Livelihoods, MSME, and Development Sector both in the Field and Office.
  • Excellent communication skills both oral and written - English, Tamil
  • Skills should have - Advance Excel, Formulas MS Office.

Job Title: MIS cum Accounts Coordinator

Salary: ₹25,000 – ₹30,000 per month

Job Description:
  • Develop various MIS formats and build the capacities of the project field staff for effectively collecting, compiling, analyzing, and sharing the program data to the management.
  • Analysis of data, including reconciliation and monitoring of the data collected.
  • Oversee data import & export to/from various formats and create information visuals as needed by program teams.
  • Produce the periodic (weekly, fortnightly, monthly, etc.) reports using MIS for effective program management.
  • Generate Monthly, Quarterly, and half-yearly Progress Reports on project indicators.
  • Maintain the Individual monthly Report of activities performed.
  • Annual Report of activities performed during the project period.
  • Maintain attendance records of the staff online mode
  • Any other task assigned by the organization.
  • Maintain Bills, invoices, and processing to the management Maintain the Individual monthly Report of activities performed.
  • Maintain books of Accounts and assist the Head office Finance and Accounts Department.
  • Co-ordinate with our field-level staff and maintain the MIS.

  • Minimum 3 - 5 years of experience in Microfinance, Livelihoods, MSME, and Development Sector both in the Field and Office.
  • Excellent communication skills both oral and written - English, Tamil
  • Skills should have - Advance Excel, VBA, Micros, ERP, Tally, Pivot Table, Formulas MS Office.

REFUND POLICY: Requests received in writing before 15th October 2023 will be considered for cancellation. A 10% handling charge would be deducted from the registration fee and the balance refunded by cheque. No amount will be refunded after.
